About Us

Yuanhua Robotics, Perception and AI Technologies Ltd., (referred to Yuanhua Tech)  was founded in Shenzhen in 2018, focusing on innovative R&D and manufacturing of original and intelligent state-of-the-art medical devices and equipment. Since its establishment, the company has been crafting an advanced specialised medical surgical robot product roadmap leaded by total orthopaedic surgical robots, covering orthopaedics, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynaecology, haemodialysis centre and other clinical applications.

Yuanhua Tech is the only company in China able to independently research and manufacture all essential parts of orthopaedic surgical robots. At the begainning of its establishment, Yuanhua Tech aimed to substitute the imported brands dominant robots market by domestic robots, with uniquely adopting the strategy of independently developing specialist surgical robots. In 2019, Yuanhua Tech's wolly-owned subsidiaries Yuanhua Orthopaedic Robotics (Shenzhen) Limited and Milvus Technologies (Shenzhen) Limited was established, which brings revolutionary breakthroughs in the medical industry.

Yuanhua Orthopaedic Robotics (Shenzhen) Limited is the wholly-owned subsidary of Yuanhua Tech, with a dedicated focus on orthopaedic surgical robotic system R&D. The KUNWU® Robotic Surgical System (hereinafter referred to as KUNWU® system)  was granted with the "Green Path" special approval process for Innovative Medical Devices from National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in November 2021. KUNWU® system for Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) successfully obtained regulatory clearance from NMPA for commercialization in April 2022, and KUNWU® system for Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) was approved in March 2023. In July 2024, KUNWU® for Uni-compartmental Knee Arthroplasty (UKA) was approved for sale, making KUNWU® the first independently developed orthopaedic surgical robot integrating TKA, THA, and UKA on a single robot system in China. In addition, the registration approval of using KUNWU® for spine & trauma surgeries is in progress. Yuanhua Orthopaedic Robotics (Shenzhen) Limited originally invented and developed surgical robot arm, navigation system, surgical planning system and all software, reaching a leading position in the orthopaedic surgical robotics industry. 

Milvus Technologies Limited is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Yuanhua Tech, dedicated to the R&D of wireless capsule endoscopes, specialised natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) robot, and intelligient puncture and intervention robot, and other products.
